4 Ways to Improve your Pet's Wellness

October is National Pet Wellness Month, which means it’s the perfect time to think about your furry friends’ health. Follow these wellness tips from Petplan to ensure your pet is living their happiest, healthiest life:

  1. Get to the vet: Dogs and cats can hide illness well. Twice a year vet visits allow a veterinarian to look specifically for illnesses that your pet may be trying to hide and catch it before it causes further harm.

  3. Watch that diet: If your pet is overweight, there’s no time like now to get started on a new diet plan. Consult your veterinarian for suggestions. If your pet is already at a healthy weight, continue feeding a high quality diet and high quality snacks.
